البيت الأبيض يطلق موقعًا جديدًا عن كوفيد-19 ويتهم الصين بتسريب الفيروس

أطلق البيت الأبيض موقعًا إلكترونيًا جديدًا مخصصًا لجائحة كوفيد-19، وركّز من خلاله على فرضية تسرب فيروس كورونا من مختبر في الصين، معتبرًا هذا السبب الرئيسي لظهور الجائحة.

ولم يغفل الموقع عن توجيه الانتقادات إلى الإدارة السابقة بقيادة جو بايدن، والمسؤول الصحي البارز أنتوني فاوتشي، بالإضافة إلى منظمة الصحة العالمية، في سياق تحميلهم المسؤولية عن سوء إدارة الأزمة.

موقف البيت الأبيض من الإجراءات الوقائية

لم يقتصر محتوى الموقع على الاتهامات، بل شمل انتقادًا حادًا لإجراءات التباعد الاجتماعي، وارتداء الكمامات، وحالات الإغلاق التي تم تطبيقها عالميًا.

وتأتي هذه الانتقادات في ظل توجه جديد داخل البيت الأبيض لتقييم الأضرار الاجتماعية والاقتصادية التي خلفتها هذه الإجراءات خلال الجائحة.

الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الذي بدأ منذ توليه منصبه في يناير الماضي إجراءات انسحاب بلاده من منظمة الصحة العالمية رغم كون واشنطن أكبر ممول لها، اعتبر أن فاوتشي لم يعد يستحق الدعم الحكومي، مطالبًا بأن يتم تأمينه عبر جهة خاصة، وأوقف التأمين الفيدرالي المقدم له.

تقييم المخابرات الأميركية ورد الصين

وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأميركية CIA أعلنت في يناير أن منشأ كوفيد-19 يرجّح أن يكون مختبريًا، لكنها أوضحت أن درجة ثقتها بهذا التقييم “ضعيفة”، وأنه لا يمكن استبعاد فرضية المنشأ الطبيعي.

وفي المقابل، أكدت الصين مشاركتها في الجهود الدولية لتحديد أصل الفيروس، واتهمت الولايات المتحدة بتسييس الملف عبر أجهزتها الاستخباراتية، كما ردت بكين بأن مزاعم التسرب المختبري “غير موثوقة وتفتقر للمصداقية”.
