إمارة أبوظبي توافق على إنشاء مهبط طائرات هليكوبتر حديث في ميناء زايد

أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، يوم الأربعاء، موافقتها على تصميم مهبط الطائرات الهليكوبتر في محطة أبوظبي للرحلات البحرية بميناء زايد.

سيكون مهبط الطائرات الهليكوبتر قادرًا على استيعاب طائرات الهليكوبتر التقليدية والطائرات الكهربائية ذات الإقلاع والهبوط العمودي (eVTOL)، مثل تاكسي ميدنايت الطائر من شركة آرتشر للطيران الأمريكية.

تم اختيار الموقع نظرًا لموقعه في ميناء زايد، الذي يستقبل أكثر من 650 ألف زائر سنويًا، ويهدف إلى أن يكون بوابةً لمعالم الإمارة السياحية مثل متحف اللوفر أبوظبي ومنطقة السعديات الثقافية.

قال سيف السويدي، المدير العام للهيئة العامة للطيران المدني: “لا يقتصر هذا الإنجاز على البنية التحتية فحسب، بل يعكس التزام دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الراسخ بالابتكار والريادة العالمية في مجال النقل الجوي المتقدم”.

وأضاف: “من خلال تعاوننا الوثيق مع آرتشر، ومجموعة أبوظبي للموانئ، وشركة فالكون لخدمات الطيران، نسهم في بناء مستقبل يُصبح فيه النقل الجوي المستدام عالي التقنية جزءًا أساسيًا من مشهدنا الحضري. تُمثل هذه الموافقة حقبة جديدة للطيران المدني، مدفوعةً بالشراكة والرؤية الثاقبة”.

وقد وضعت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني الإطار التنظيمي الذي يُنظم الاستخدام الآمن والفعال لخدمات النقل الجوي سريعة التطور، والذي من المقرر نشره بحلول يوليو.

وقال آدم جولدشتاين، الرئيس التنفيذي والمؤسس المشارك لشركة آرتشر: “إن الاستفادة من أصول الطيران الحالية تُمثل حجر الزاوية في استراتيجية إطلاقنا”.

وأضاف: “هذا يُتيح لنا التحرك بسرعة وأمان، مما يُتيح لنا تجهيز البنية التحتية الحيوية قبل إطلاق التاكسي الجوي التجاري المُخطط له”.

وسيكون مهبط الطائرات المروحية الهجين بمثابة نقطة انطلاق رئيسية لخدمات سيارات الأجرة الجوية في أبوظبي، ومن المقرر إطلاقها بحلول عام 2026.

حددت شركة آرتشر للطيران منطقة الكورنيش وجزيرة السعديات وبعض مناطق مدينة أبوظبي كأفضل المناطق الواعدة لتشغيل خدمة التاكسي الجوي الكهربائي.
