بلومبرغ: “أدنوك” تدرس شراء أصول “إيثون” للغاز الطبيعي في أمريكا بقيمة 9 مليارات دولار

أفادت مصادر لوكالة بلومبرغ، الجمعة، أن شركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية للنفط (أدنوك) تدرس عرض استحواذ على أصول الغاز الطبيعي لشركة “إيثون إنرجي مانجمنت” قد تصل قيمته إلى نحو 9 مليارات دولار.

تعتبر شركة أدنوك عمليات الاستحواذ في مجالات الغاز الطبيعي والكيماويات حجر الزاوية لاستراتيجيتها المستقبلية. إلى جانب الغاز الطبيعي المسال ومصادر الطاقة المتجددة، تسعى الشركة الإماراتية للاستفادة من هذه القطاعات لتعزيز نموها وتوسيع عملياتها عالميًا.

صفقات سابقة تعكس استراتيجية أدنوك التوسعية

في خطوة سابقة، قامت أدنوك بشراء حصة في مشروع تصدير الغاز الطبيعي المسال لشركة “نيكست ديكيد” في تكساس، إلى جانب إبرام صفقة توريد مدتها 20 عامًا. هذه الصفقات تمثل جزءًا من استراتيجية الشركة في تنويع مصادر الطاقة وتنمية أعمالها في السوق الدولية، وفقًا لما ذكرته “رويترز”.

المفاوضات لا تزال في مراحلها الأولى

يشير تقرير بلومبرغ إلى أن المداولات بشأن استحواذ أدنوك على أصول شركة إيثون إنرجي مانجمنت ما زالت في مراحلها الأولية، ولم يتم التوصل إلى اتفاقات نهائية حتى الآن.

سبق أن أفادت تقارير لوكالة رويترز في نوفمبر الماضي أن شركة إيثون إنرجي مانجمنت كانت تبحث خيارات متعددة لأصولها في قطاع الغاز الطبيعي، ومنها بيع أو طرح عام أولي بتقييم يصل إلى نحو 10 مليارات دولار.

حتى اللحظة، لم ترد كل من أدنوك وإيثون على طلبات رويترز للتعليق على هذا التقرير، مما يترك العديد من التساؤلات حول طبيعة الاتفاق النهائي بين الجانبين.
