واشنطن تعفي الهواتف وأجهزة الكمبيوتر من الرسوم الجمركية الجديدة

أعلنت هيئة الجمارك وحماية الحدود الأمريكية عن توجيهات جديدة تنص على إعفاء الهواتف الذكية وأجهزة الكمبيوتر من الرسوم الجمركية التي فرضها الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب مؤخرًا على الواردات الصينية، مما يوفر متنفسًا لشركات التكنولوجيا الكبرى التي تعتمد على التصنيع في الصين.

استثناء مرحب به لشركات التكنولوجيا

ويسمح الإعفاء الجديد لشركات مثل Apple وDell وHP باستمرار عملياتها التجارية دون تعطل، بعد أن كانت تواجه تهديدًا بزيادة كبيرة في التكاليف بسبب التعرفة الجمركية البالغة 125% التي فرضتها إدارة ترامب على المنتجات الصينية.

ترامب: منفتح على اتفاق تجاري مع الصين

في نفس السياق، أكدت السكرتيرة الصحافية للبيت الأبيض، كارولين ليفيت، أن الرئيس دونالد ترامب لا يزال متفائلًا بإمكانية التوصل إلى اتفاق مع الصين بشأن النزاع التجاري القائم بين البلدين.

وخلال مؤتمر صحافي عقد يوم الجمعة 11 أبريل، قالت ليفيت: “أوضح الرئيس بشكل تام أنه منفتح على التوصل إلى اتفاق مع الصين”، لكنها حذرت من أن استمرار الصين في الرد بفرض تعريفات مضادة “لن يكون في صالحها”، وفقًا لما ذكرته وكالة “رويترز”.

مهلة 90 يومًا قبل تطبيق شامل للتعريفات

أشارت المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض إلى أن الرئيس ترامب يأمل في التوصل إلى تسويات إضافية بشأن التعريفات الجمركية خلال فترة تأجيل مدتها 90 يومًا، والتي تم منحها قبل دخول الرسوم حيز التنفيذ الكامل.
